White is not boring, white is timeless and beautiful!
Just add a few textures and natural tones and you’re headed in the right direction. Something that is timeless is not affected by the passage of time or changes in fashion. Our white concepts on display this week all portray this aspect. Marble, timber, and white will always be timeless and classic.
The Hamptons style will always be timeless, using natural tones, whites and timber floors (and ceramic timber look tiles of course). Get the look! Basic white subway tiles, dark ceramic timber tile floors, a Caesarstone bench top and white wood cabinetry.
Turn ordinary into extraordinary with the herringbone pattern. Here I used ceramic timber tiles to portray a herringbone pattern. Normally thinner shorter tiles are ideal to accomplish this look but in a large open space, large format tiles in a herringbone pattern look spectacular! I paired this flooring with white gloss square tiles which can be used as a splash back, an “Organic White” Caesarstone benchtop and a melamine finegrain finish for the cabinetry.
Penny tiles are by far my favourite style of tile. They are timeless, beautiful, and cool. Available in various different finishes too!
Beveled subway tiles are so beautifully elegant. I paired them with this timber parquetry look patterned tile which can be used as flooring and my favourite Caesarstone “Alpine Mist”.
Which ever concept suits you more, there is one thing they all have in common, they are timeless! Transform any space into a beautiful calming environment and to complete the look add some fresh flowers.
