The Project
Today’s Concept Consult is a bathroom renovation. Our clients have already chosen their wall tiles (white subway tiles) so our objective is to select tiles for the floor and shower. The vanity will be a dark timber laminate with a white gloss sink basin.
The Design Brief
Our clients wanted a floor tile that would tie in the subway tiles and the vanity they already have. They were undecided of colour choice and knew they did not want a dark colour. Being that their space is on the smaller side with not much natural light, we opted for a light coloured tile. Exercising all possible colour options we found a grey tile that worked perfectly with the selections they already have.
They also sought after something different for the shower base. We considered various options, different shapes, different colours, and sizes; to ensure a cohesive collaboration of their existing choices. We decided on marble diamond mosaics which complimented perfectly.
