The Project
Today’s Concept Consult is a kitchen, dining, and bathroom renovation project. The client is looking to update her kitchen with all new cabinetry, flooring, and layout. The floor plan for this project is still a work in progress. This consult was called to make decisions on tiles before selecting bench tops and cabinet finishes.
The Design Brief
Our client already had an idea of the style she was trying to achieve – the industrial look; this made the selection process quick and sufficient. With her vision of high gloss cabinets, a steel grey and matte black Caesarstone bench top with exposed timber beams in the ceiling, we needed to select a splashback and floor tile to tie everything in. Wanting an industrial feel kitchen, we selected a concrete look tile for the floors. To add a pop of colour, a green crackled gloss subway tile was selected for the splashback. The concrete floor tile will flow through to the bathroom and dining space.
Once completed, this kitchen overlooking the river will be one amazing entertaining hub for their home and we are excited to see the finished product!
